Default Depoe Bay Rockfish 5/10 (pic)

Saw Depoebaydan over there this morning and he was giving a clinic to a couple other people fishing with him. We fished around the bay and also over at Boiler Bay. Did well around there, just had to move around a little to find them. Got into 8 Sea Bass, and 2 Ling Cod. Here's a pic of my 25 incher...weighed 5.2 lbs and has some good filets!

The fish were caught by jigging plastics. Was great weather with little breeze this morning!

Dan's the man...... He has a wealth of good information about rockfishing and he's not shy about sharing it with others to ensure a successful trip. Looks like great weather and some good fishing - wish I had been there.
