Question water repellant safe for plastic???

What products might be safe for the ability to repel rain from the plastic portions of the windshields?
The container of RainX says do not use on plastics unless manufacturer recommends, and we have no idea about what the manufacturer might recommend on this material.
Can you tell me what you use?
I emailed RainX last week for confirmation/recommendation & no reply.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I know anything that has alcohol in it is not good for plastic,
and anything that will leave a film that yellows is not good. Maybe
Armor All is ok? just maybe, not shure.

if you are talking plastic boat windows, try using Pledge furniture polish. I was told that is works well as a water repellent, I just don't have a boat to try it out.
