Re: Eastern oregon bears
There are a lot more bears up there, it is just crazy. If you are in the mt emily unit the bears are feeding up on the tops of the ridges then bedding in the brushy draws. Early morning or just at dark seems to be the ticket. Thanks for the compliments. We do our best to save our elk and deer. We should have had a 3rd bear but the other guys gun is off. It was a lot of fun except for the pack out.

Re: Eastern oregon bears
Nice work doubling up on the bears, and great job of picking up the bonus!

Re: Eastern oregon bears
Hey there mtn,
We just moved over here to milton freewater from the coast area and was hoping to get my wife on a bear. Do you have any good advice for this area? We went out last weekend and seen some good fresh sign but no bear yet. Thanks in advance.
