2008-2009 Oregon gamebird regs are out

There are a few changes this year mainly to do with dusky geese and the Northwest zone. You now need a goose permit to hunt anywhere in the NW zone, not just in the permit zone and you must have your permit on you while hunting in the NW zone outside the permit zone, just the permit not the harvest card (page 20).

There are also a bunch of new goose regs on page 19.

ODFW doesnt want hunters targeting collared birds or banded birds - it screws up the data.

Little behind time.Permit was required for the General NorthWest zone starting 2 season's ago.Just giving yu a hard time.
