Default BFB Weather Watch

Well the bouys have us trending better and the forecast for Tues/Wed reflects that trend.

It is not predicted to last however. In fact it's projected to exceed the combined seas max of 10 on Friday. :depressed:

What has me perplexed is the wind is forecasted to decrease Thursday yet the conditions are predicted to worsen. Probably due to the loss of westerly influence.

Hmmm, might have something to do with the lunar cycle  or the fact that it is the all depth Halibut opener

It doesn't look like we will know till we get there boys.

Kurt's prediction: marginal conditions, but fishable. Long run out, longer run back, BFBs in the box.

I like the looks of Saturday. Thursday looks like die hards only. If the period stretches out, it would look better to me, but 3 and 7 at 8 seconds is the Bendix Agitator and is more work than Costco's Alaskan halibut fillets at $6.99 per pound. The 2 and 5 of Saturday is more my speed, if the period between the dominant swell goes a little longer.
