First of all, It took a while to get this out because I have been real since the sportsmens show. It really gets the best of you. Anyway we were able to raise almost 1200.00 for abused children in the tri county/ clark county area!! We had donations from just about every ifish sponsor, and are getting more for the Kings for Kids' tourney!! ( We are auctioning and raffling guided trips, rods, reels, lures, prints, smokers, eggs, and much more). We still are looking for some help at the tourney on May 7th at the BBQ. We already have over half the boats filled for the tourney, but we had more guides sign up at the show to help out.

This year is going to be awesome, because first prize is a guided trip w/ Fins Feathers and Furs!!(Thanks Travis!!) Thanks to Dave Johnson, Chris(FWF1) Nordling, Al Winters, Kent Anderson and the many others who helped at the show. Especially to Jennie who has been a strong supporter of the tourney!!

If you would like to help out at the tourney, be a guide, or help with donations, please send a PM or email. Everyone at the tourney gets a t-shirt. I have one set aside for Jennie too. :grin:

If you haven't signed up for the tournament yet, you need to! This is a very worthwhile cause, and you'll get to spend a day out on the river with an experienced guide.
