Shrimp

Where are all the shrimpers at in their quest for deep water shrimps? Anyone try dropping gear or planning on dropping gear? What are the plans for bait and where are some designs for traps? I have a friend who wants to try it out with me! 400 ft seems like a lot of rope! Any help would be appreciated.

AuntyM is the resident expert on shrimpin'. I bet she could answer most of your questions. I don't know how much she frequents the Salty Dogs, so you might have to lure her in. I wonder what you would use to catch an AuntyM? Beer, beef jerkey, tofu, Marty Robbins albums, who knows?
