Default Going out of Garibaldi Saturday

Heading out in the morning with 2 boats so far, mine and Dennis from T.Bait. Figure on getting out about 9:00 AM on the low slack tide (with the minus tide the bar will probably be closed until then). Any other boats are welcome.

Be careful, my old man has a house in Cape Meares and he is down there this week. I talked with him today and he said that it was blowing 15knots when he woke up and built to 20+ knots by 11:00. He said that the drift on Thursday was very fast and the ride in was like a washing machine. I belive that someone from the board was out today and said the ride in sucked.

Now with that all said, I am holding my breath that it changes, cause I have plans to try my inside Halibut location on Sunday.

The trip turned out good today. 1 fish short of our rock fish limit at 3 Arch and 15 crab in front of Cape Mears.

I found out today that I need 2 new bilge pumps and a couple of slow leaaks plugged before I go to the ranch.

Great day on the salt Crazyfish. A little tense at times  due to "technical difficulties". I've bailed faster, but I did wish that I'd woken my family up and given them a kiss before I left when we had the problem with the motor . Ocean was really not bad, maybe 15 kts wind, 4-5 ft. swells, with a little 1-2 ft. wind chop by afternoon, but a short swell interval. Fun and productive none the less Was fun fishin' with ya.
All our fish were caught on shrimp flies. Didn't really try for lings.
Love the crabs--thanks again!
