Penn Formula II Reels

Has anyone used Penn Formula II two speed reels? They're about 2/3 the price of the International reels and have graphite frames.

I have been eyeballing them every since they came out. A guy on ebay consistantly has them for around $250 (list is $300+). I just bought the single speed for my fishing buddy and he is going to use it for this, hali, tuna, sturgeon season. They have the 2 speeds at Fishermens Marine if you get up this way and want to play with one. I have swapped some emails with the guy who sells them on ebay and he of course loves them.

While you are looking at 2 speeds, take a look at the Shimano TLD 20 II speed. About the same price, smooth as silk, dependable, great reels. We use them for Yellowfin, Marlin, bigwater trolling and Oversize gators in the CR with great results. 4+ years of abuse with little needed maintanence and absolutely no problems.
