Default Water Ready (rentals)

Salmon season is closing in and wanted to tell all about the rental Rapidcat pontoons. I have 8 ea.- 10' models for drifting or taking to your favorite lake. Most use them on the North & South Santiam, but Detroits not that far away also. I also shuttle, (delivery and pick up) on the North Santiam for these rentals and Drifters. Call or email for details. Contacts are on the website
Water Ready! is also having a big fish contest when the salmon return to the North and South Forks of the Santiams. We will start signing people up at the Albany Sportsman show(booth 128)on th 27, 28, 29th of Feb.
We will have some great prizes along with a weekend rental for 2 Rapidcat pontoons to visit the river or lake. Details and rules will be posted at our booth, our store/shop in Lyons, and soon on our website. See ya at the show and Happy Fishn' Bruce

I'm sure Water Ready can give you there address, but it's on the old Peoples Telephone lot across from the Corner Market in downtown Lyons.

I'm gonna try and make it down there also and introduce myself and make a rental (test run). Looks like fun. They look like they would be perfect for some of the short runs where you don't have a ramp to take out at.

I remember a weekend where there is a float (hatch?) on the Santiam where soem people teach others how to float the river. Can you post info on this? I would be very interested in demoing and learning the river at the same time. I would also be interested to hear how these boats cope with wind.

Haven`t been in Lyons for a while, but how can you lose your way around there? Used to live on Birch for a while back in the 70`s. Later, FF.

Nice to know there is some local ifishers around here.
Barviewrocks-- Get hold of Bilsan that posts the Santiam river updates on ifish. He is with the steelheaders that do the "learn the river" float trips and can tell you when they do them. If not, call me and I'll go with ya. Pick the day!
FYI for Fishfeet and me fishin--- :depressed: I will be out of town this weekend and will not be open. Family stuff. I am an owner/operator so sometimes get stuck.
However if you make it to the Albany Sportsman, Boat and Rv. show stop in and see me. Booth 128. We will be signing people up for the Salmon contest on the Santiams and would love for you all to join in.

Hey Water Ready! I might be up in your direction this coming weekend visiting relatives and friends. Like to stop and have a look at your store. Where are you located in Lyons? Lived up on the Little N. fork for 40 years or so, and those toon boats sound like they would be a real kick. I was looking at some at the Sportsmans show, and got interested in maybe giving them a try one of these days. Maybe see you this weekend if you`re open. Later, FF.

Hey G2FISH,
The salmon contest, is about big fish and most "legally tagged fish total weight". Lasts a couple of months so most can have an oppurtunity to get out and fish. This is the first contest we have put on, we are still learning. Would love to hear some ideas from others that have been in derby, tournys, or contests. Would like any input you all may be able to share. Also looking for other sponsors to join in.
Some nice prizes and will have a picnic event at the end to give out prizes. Stop in and sign up at the Sportsman show in Albany or the shop in Lyons. Happy Fishn' Bruce
