Thumbs up Fish & Hunt 1980 Mobile Traveler $4700.00

1980 Mobile Traveler, 18 foot motor home. $4700.00

GMC ¾ ton chassis
350 V-8 engine with 50,000 original miles
Automatic transmission
New batteries
Tires and brakes in great shape
Oil and filter just changed
Fully self contained
On board propane tank
Fridge runs on propane/electric/battery
Hot water heater
3 burner stove with oven
Stove hood with fan and light
Propane furnace
Double sink
Bathroom with sink, shower and flushing commode
AM/FM cassette with 4 built in speakers
CB radio
Electric heater
Misc. pots, pans and utensils

I bought this from Fishbait last year. I knew it would need some work so Honey and I spent the better part of the summer of 07 gutting and remodeling this unit and we are quite proud of the results Once we had stripped the interior we……

Installed new headliner
Painted the interior
Had all cushions professionally re-upholstered
Honey made new curtains
Installed new carpet
Laid ceramic tile in entryway
Installed cloth seat covers (vinyl is perfect but kind of sticky when it’s hot out).

The Mobile Trawler (as it’s affectionately known to us) is a cool rig!!! We have used it for “Surf Camp” at Barview and “Fish Camp” at Old Mill and our trip to Pacific City and it performed beautifully. It tows my 16 foot sled with no problem. We would love to keep it but need the money to help pay for a property dispute we are dealing with. It sleeps 2 adults and 2 kids comfortably. I am running it through DEQ this week so it will have fresh tags.
$100.00 donation to Ifish if it sells to an Ifisher
Here is a picture from Fishbait's original post to sell the "Trawler". I repainted the grill and front bumper. I have a dozen or so pics, if you are interested, shoot me an email and I will send them to you.

I know the complete history on this RV. I was the second (3rd actually as it was bought in Denver new, driven to Portland and traded in, they had 4 kids) I bought it from my parents. Probably close to 50K original miles, has had good mechanical care over entire life. I towed my sled with it no issues.
I have probably spent well over 300+ nights in this rig. Single person/ couples lots of room. Small family is just fine. If I remember right I got about 16 mpg when I drove it.

It's got everything and a couple could live in it for 3 - 6 days fully self contained with no hookups depending on toilet use. Hookups unlimited use. Many trips I would just find a turnout or vaccant wide road and spend the night and then after 1-2 days get hookups to dump and re-fill fresh water.

All right.... you guys have to help the dog. This RV is a collectors item. If you step in side and close your eyes you can still smell fishbait. This is as close as you can be to him without paying his fees. And let me tell you H2Odog does not have a clue about the fees he is incurring.
