My new mount!!
Last year i finally killed a mature speck in the permit zone and of course had to get it mounted. Here is the outcome.....disgustingly awesome taxidermy work. Thanks to NW wings taxidermy.

Re: My new mount!!
I've always thought the speck was a pretty bird. Never seen one that I can remember, but always wanted to get one. Nice bird.

Re: My new mount!!
That is a great mount! The thing I see as most special in a mount like that is the fact the bird was taken in the permit zone. That bird will provide memories for a life time.
Congrats.

Nice mount, which brings up the question nobody has asked yet: Who is the taxidermist?

If you are interested in seeing one go to Baskett Slough the last few weeks in april to the first week of may and you will see them. You may have to look carefully but they will be there.
