Any Ocean Salmon Catching Yet?

I'd like to catch some ocean salmon on Saturday either from Depoe Bay or Newport.

Can anyone mention where (if any) they're located?

Four trips out of Depoe Bay, 22 fish ... although last weekend (Sunday) all
I brought home was the skunk!

I've been fishing out at about 60 fathoms and running 50 fathoms of wire down. I
also have heard that they are getting a few (?) up off Government Point in about
20-25 fathoms wilst jigging for bottom fish. Might be worth a try!

Same story down south. The commercials are fishing 40-60 fathoms.

I caught a feeder a few weeks ago only 20 feet or so down (was pulling in my gear to change colors...go figure).

It shouldn't be too much longer before they start moving in closer to shore...right?

Just spent Sunday and Monday out of Coos Bay with the fleet. Most of them are fishing 50-60 Fathoms and averaging 10-30 fish per day. No big bite going on.

We had 25 fish for the two days.

Got my first salmon blood on my salty dog cap.
