Hi all, JeeppNana signing on. Since I got the great opportunity to crew with Team Sea Jypzee in the OTC I finally convinced myself to get registered instead of just hearing reports from my hubby Small Fry. After meeting several of you at the events, I am excited to join up with such a great group of people.
Guess I am supposed to tell a 'fish story' now. The one that comes to mind is last years Ladies Only trip with Maverick. Steve signed me up and then told me I was going - no argument from me. We headed out first for halibut and had one on that really took line. I reeled and reeled and reeled, convinced Mark and Nancy that it must be a big one and I had to agree. My arms shook, my legs ached and my back was yellin' at me but I was not about to let go of the pole. About 1 1/2hrs later, Mark decided to help pull it in by yarding in the line as I reeled - low and behold it was the littlest catch of the day

, but I had it hooked in the tail. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted and tasted good anyway!!
Have to say this years Ladies Only trip was also a great adventure even though the winds didn't allow us out after tuna. We reeled in hali after hali, brought home some really tasty crab, too and had a great time laughing on the boat. Nice to meet new people and the weather (other than the wind) was fabulous! Thanks Mark and Nancy!!! I am still waiting for pics from Anita since I forgot my camera, but will post as soon as I get them.
Also want to say that the ongoing adventure of being part of Team Sea Jypzee has been one of the most memorable times on the water for me. If the weather permits, LOOK OUT GUYS!!
