just got back
was up on the pend oreille river in northern idaho(i go every year) fishing was good lots of 1-2lb smallmouth and i got a 6lb largemouth(my biggest) and i don't have a picture because i was about 20minutes upriver from camp and i didn't think she'd make it in my little bucket so i let her go(which was hard because that was my biggest bass). most of the bass came on 3inch white tubes with 1/4jighead with pro-cure gel krill.(which i use for everything) the largemouth came on a clear with blue flake curlytail 5" worm. also caught lots of perch which avg about 8+" lots of ********* biggest was 25". the water was really clear, about 10-20ft visability. had to use 6lb fluorocarbon.
all in all good trip lots of fish
thanks for those who gave me info, i tried topwater the whole trip, morning evening middle of night and never had a single blow up. i tried poppers, buzz baits, spooks, and prop baits. ohh well next time.
