Default Knot tieing 101 Question

What is the best knot to use to tie tuf line to tuf line? I have some left on a new spool that I would like to add to another reel. Or is it not recommended to tie the two together. I was thinking of using a blood knot, but I want to make sure it will hold.
Thanks for the input.

Blood Knot - Uni's - or double barrel/ monk's knot. All of these work on the principle of the harder you pull the tighter it gets. For lines that get handled a lot you might consider serving the tag ends for a smoother transition.
