Re: Fall is here
WOW!!! They're changing already??!! We haven't even finished summer yet!
Mother nature obviously has her own agenda this year and we aren't figured into it for certain!

Re: Fall is here
You know,
I agree, although I didn't want to be the first to mention it..
It was dark and raining and cold this last Saturday as I rode into work on my Motorbike.
Most mornings, I have so much fog in my helmet that I have to "Flip my lid"
and that is usually the beginning of a long and convoluted downward progression into daily Chaos.
But,
Yeah,
Fall is here..
Now pray for an *indigenous peoples summer* Formerly known as an "Indian summer"
Mr Patel said "Don't sweat giving us credit for the sunny days, just don't blame us for the rain".

Yeah, My Kasura tree in the back yard is starting to change as well. Summer is never ever long enough.

Re: Fall is here
I for one will be glad when summer is gone. I would prefer rolling from spring in to fall. Heat, YUCK!

Re: Fall is here
Fall is my favorite season. I've noticed some leaves beginning to turn around my place, too.
I like what Rodaction said up above...

Re: Fall is here
FWIW, the week of August 17 seems to historically be a transition week into cooler weather.
Don't ask me how I know that.

Re: Fall is here
and the geese are flying low over my house in the early mornings now too. Don't forget to start getting your suet feeders ready for the winter. The new babies are out foraging on their own. Downeys, nuthatches, chickadees - a few strubbly feathers still showing.

Re: Fall is here
Heat makes these old bones work much better than cold. So I vote for more Summer fishing and outdoor fun.
Cold Temps, Ice, and Snow will be here way to soon for my liking.
