Fred Wahl Marine Strikes Again
FYI...A good friend of mine had his 38 Chris hauled at Sturgeon Bend a coupla weeks ago for some bottom maintenance. He also needed a little glass work done on his cockpit gunwhale. They gave him a quote of $500-$700. The final bill Fri was $2,200.00! He is going to get his attorney on it. I don't know why this is happening, but in the world I live in...a quote is a quote!

it's in writing!! If you MUST do business with these folks, GET IT IN WRITING!!!

Fish Assassin was your quote from Bud Shoemake or the yard boss? Your's and Doug's are not the only complaints I've heard but it seem's it is the yard boss who is doing the work that is causing the problem. I have hauled out there many times and have seen that the yard boss is always running around doing ten things at once. I know Doug got charged by him for time he was not available. I've known Bud for years and always thought he was an honorable man but maybe not on top of what's happening in the yard. Could be a common denominator. What do you think?
