Default Winchechester Model 12 Shotgun Question

Greetings,

I have a Winchester Model 12, 20 Ga. pump shotgun with a modified choke...I have looked up the S/N it was produced in 1963...This gun is
in very good condition and hasnt been used since the early 70's I was wondering where would be the best source of information as to find out
what it's true value is...I have a person interested in purchasing it and he
has given me about 4 different figures each one keeps getting lower except the last one and it went up a $100.00...I
could take it in to the local gun shop here for an appraisel but would just like to walk in with possibly a little knowledge of it's worth before hand.
thanks in advance

Check out closed auctions on gunbroker.com and see what some have sold for. The key to SOLD for, there are many inflated prices on that site. That should get you a ball park figure. I am sure somone on this site (baltz) could book it for you.

Very nice, I have one that was made in 1925 and is a full choke. Winchester wasn't lying when they stamped "full" on a model 12! Just guessing I'd say $800 to $1200, but surf the gun auction sites, you'll get a better idea what they are selling for.

Finest shotgun ever made!

What's the barrel length and is it a Vent Rib?
