Thumbs up Sites from Sunday (pic heavy)

Here are a few sites my wife and I saw late Sunday afternoon. The lighting was very poor and I apologize for the quality of the photos.

Look whose hiding in the CRP!

More of his buddies!

Are these two are related?

There were several with some interesting antler patterns. I can't include all of them, but I am wondering if we have some genetic tendencies with these guys.

I saw in another thread about some "big forks" on the west side. What do you think of this east side "big fork"?

Heading into the sunset..............

Nice photos, what general area were you in? I've seen some good bucks (Muleys) just south of Kennewick, my ole stomping grounds.

There are a few whitetails in the area but luckily for the most part the muleys continue to rule. We are seeing more and more whitetails close to my family's ranch which is actually nearer the mountains than where these deer are in these pictures.

These guys are in NEO and not near Kennewick. I do know a guy who got a very nice muley just south of town last year.

I saw a bunch of bucks in this same area last year and didn't see any with "hooks" on any of the antlers. There were definitely several with some strange antlers this year. I will try to get further pictures once they have shed some velvet.

Most of those were taken looking toward the sun late in the day. We had our 200-500mm lens on our Canon xTi. As I said earlier we wil try to get more pics when they lose their velvet.

I agree that the light was good. I like those velvet antlers backlit by the sun. It gives them a kind of glow.

Thanks for sharing those.
