Fishing again

So I'm starting to fly-fish again, the last time being with my father about 13 years ago. I live in Portland and would like to catch some fish on either my 5wt rod or 7wt rod. Ideally I would like to catch some trout, and maybe steelhead later on. Can someone maybe point me in the right direction on someplace to go that isn't a killer drive. Any tips that start getting fish on are greatly appreciated.

The Clackamas is the best bet this time of year (at least close to Portland - you didn't say where you are located); the Sandy is too dirty until fall. There are also some productive waters in SW Washington.

Do some research on Ifish; it is a resource with lots of useful fly-fishing information.
