If you so kindly offer me your thoughts (critique) on this picture I took, I'd appreciate it

Its nice picture, great colors and good depth of field. Critique? It would be more interesting if it had something in the forground... perhaps just in shadow... to make it a little less bland. In other words (to me) its a nice background for something, but it needs something interesting in the foreground to complete the picture. I also imagine that the color mode on the camera and white balance might be fiddeled with to make the colors more vibrant.

Some examples of having a subject in the foreground... Yours would be an outstanding photo if maybe you had a little corner of the transom of the boat and a the shadow of a pretty girl sitting on it or even couple fishing rods or something like that. Just an idea.

I thought the ripples in the foreground were all it needed- it's beauty is in its simplicity. I think it's the best shot you've posted.
