I went a few weeks ago, when it was really rainy, and the bay tasted like fresh water. We got 6 crabs in 2 hours, so it was slow. We couldnt get out to the main bay due to the rough water and severe wind, but we got out across from it. Should be better with the rains slackening off some. Good luck.

Go a litte farther south and try Charleston. Crabbed on Friday, the 9th and got to limits of nice size crabs in 2 hours. Also picked up some huge red rock crab. Good luck.

You're right about the Charleston red rocks.
I got as much meat from them on a trip this past weekend as from my keeper dungees.
