Got a late start Saturday morning (tuna guts from Friday leaked all over the garage .. fun at 6 a.m.!) but crossed the bar at about 7. Put the crab pots out north of the jetty (again with the fresh tuna parts) and ran out to 300 foot line and started trolling in the fog. Got our first hookup about an hour later, landed a nice 10 pounder. Waited a while for more action and finally had another take down but nothing on, and called it for five minutes (old fishing trick). We got a double takedown but didn't get them in the boat. Stupid barbless hooks. Had to call it quits because of a wedding to go to ... but had time to pull up 15 keeper crabs. We only were on the water for a few hours so the crabs and the one coho made it seem like a good day. Wish we could have stayed.

Saw a guy at the gas dock who had made it out earlier that day. He had 3 guys in the boat and they limited the boat.

WE fished saturday. got a late start as we were trying to decide between tuna and salmon. with the wind forcast we went salmon fishing and crabbing. When we got there we dunped pots south then headed out to 325'. we had Reef Diver and Criter Giter out there around us as well. WE hooked fish on justa about everything in the boat, but getting them to hang on was tough and frustrating. We got bit as soon as we got gear in and it was fast and furious for a while then it slowed. WE ended up with 3 FAT clipped silvers and pulled the pots and kept 20 nice crab. Reef Diver and Criter Giter were great to have around. Lots of fun boys.

good luck

Brandon

Friday evening: left at 4:00 with a friend = 3 HO's by 8pm.

Saturday morning: left at 6:00 am with a friend, 4 HO's by 9:00, limited.

Sunday morning: left at 6:00 with friend and bro, 6 HO's by 11:30, limited.

aprox. 300 feet of water, fish flasher, and cut plug.

We let lots of natives go, 3+ natives per day. Fish were averaging 10 lbs with the larger pushing 15. Heard a rumor of a 20+.

Been waiting all year for the stars to align, I bet we hit the quota soon with cooperative fish. Go get em!!!!!!

The fish checker at the Coast Guard ramp on saturday weighed a 19+ and an 18+. Our biggest was only 13.4. Did release a 40+ chinook and broke off a 6ft+ shark.

We are heading down there this weekend w/ a borrowed boat. I was thinking my wife would view my addiction differently if I could get her into a coho or two. Any info that might help me toward this end would be greatly appreciated.
