Can you clean your tuna at see. What I was thinking get your tuna then start cleaning when you are hali. fishing. or do you have to bring them in first.

In Oregon you can gut and gill fish. Washington you may cark and loin and dispose of the carcus at sea. Bag loins and do not let them sit unprotected on the ice.

This I do not know nor do I want to steer you in the wrong directions. Perhaps someone here with more knowledge can answer. Sorry. I cannot tell you if it is a "Goodidea".

My assumption is that you are landing in Oregon. Just because you "stop by" in WA, doesn't mean you are landing there. Otherwise, everyone could say that bumped a WA dock and cleaned fish there. I would avoid that, or first talk with a couple local OR Game Wardens (those who patrol the area and would likely write teh ticket, not the folks keeping an eye on the trout fishermen).

If you do, make sure to follow Bernie's advice of keeping water away from the meat. Mushy loins are not favorable.
