Default Kicker remote steering -> 1999 Yamaha 9.9 4 stroke?

If I have a SportJet 175RX2 inboard, is there a way to set up remote steering for a 1999 Yamaha 9.9 4 stroke kicker?

Have you considered the Troll Master Digital Throttle Control used in conjunction with the Panther Remote Steer. You can get a look at it in the Cabela's catalog or look at Cabela's online.
You can also contact Bill at Trollmaster.com Topline Control is the best company that I've ever dealt with, and he probably can save you a few bucks.

Another vote for the Trollmaster Throttle and the Panther Steer. The newest Trollmaster wired remote can also operate the Panther Steer so you only have one remote.

It is less than half the price of a TR1, but has fewer features. If you are just looking for remote steering and throttle, go with Panther/Trollmaster. If you are looking for an autopilot that can be set to follow a GPS track, track on a compass bearing or other things like that, then the TR1 is the best choice.

The TR1 is worth every penny.

The Cabelas parts may be great too, not familiar.

Ok, we all have to think cost, and what is simple, as well as $$$$$ Friendly. So here is what one can do. Research a Bi-Directional 12v DC hyd. pump, config a smal circuit 12v to 5v to run a remote, then purchase a TR-1 steering Kit, plum it, and have remote steer. cost around 400 bucks. If one needs a hand I can give ya a hand.
