Default Three Day's on the Lower Deschutes

I took a few day's off and threw a few things in the raft and headed out for a three day Trout trip.

The Redwings were keeping an eye on me,

Baldy was not interested in me!!!

Now this guy was watching me as i floated by.

And so was his family!!!!

I wonder if she can read and does she care.

My second home, What more do you need.

A room with a view.

I only saw one of these and he did let me know he was there and did not want to play with me!!!

I was fishing a nice run and she came down for a drink.

So i said lets do lunch!!!

"I hear the train a comin Its rollin round the bend" (Johnny Cash's song Folsom Prison Blues always pop's in to my head every time i see a train)

Ready for action

Just the one fish pic, I really should keep the camera more handy when i fish!!!!!

And one last rock formation!!!!!

It was good to be down there with out clients just having fun and catching some nice fish.

Very nice! When I hear Red Wings, it takes me back to my early years as a teenager running to Maupin with my buddies casting Roostertails along the R.R. tracks.

jaxflyfish, WarmSprings to Harpham Flats.
chromeseeker, The Rod is an old Hardy Palakona, I use it for dry's. The Perfect does sing when a Redside runs.

Slow and Low, I was just sitting in the raft eating a sandwich when she came along eating her lunch. She was not worried about me just a little curious

speydude, i was looking for a DLSR camera with a good lens for distance shots and was easy to use just like my point and press cameras but not one with interchangeable lens as i know i would drop them, I just want to point, Zoom and Press. The camera i bought was the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18. Nearly all the pics i posted are shot in auto mode where the camera does all the work for you.

Whiskey D......thanks for the link. I checked it out briefly. I really want a new camera, but it's just not in the budget at the moment. Since I like to use it around water for fishing pictures, I'm afraid I'll drop it in the water. It's happened before. That's why I'm kind of leaning toward a water proof digital. The trade off of course, is it would not produce as good of quality photos as what your getting with your Panasonic. I'm impressed with the quality of the photos your getting with it. Can you control the F stop manually with it?
