Default Halibut and

I am very new on the board and must say that I have never met any of you. I was, however, next the Skelteton Catching Ifisher on the CR. I saw the pic on the board and recognized it.

Anway I have a question. If it is out of order please do no hesitate to let me know.

I know five fun loving guys that would really like to go halibut fishing. They were going to get a samller charter, like the "Irish", to go fishing. However all smaller boats seem to be booked at this time. We would be willing to go on a bigger boat but with 10-15 other strangers it can be a drag if you know what I mean.

Two of the guys are friends and fishing partner for over 25 years. The other two are Pop and son that I met on vacation two years ago salmon fishing for a week at charleston. What a WEEK

So here is the question. Would anyone with a boat big enough for six guys counting the Captain like an all expense paid trip halibut trip? Five crew will also take care of all clean up. Please let me know.

Now, I applogise if I have stepped over the line anyway. I just figured being open and front was thew way to do it with you fisher men and women (alphabetical)

I don't think it's too forward but not a lot of people have the size of boat that can accomodate that many people at the same time. Keep an eye open for posts within the next month and you might be able to score some seats. Good luck.

I would also say to watch posts for open seats. I think that your chances would be good of getting everyone out but just not on the same boat.

Weather permiting I'll be in a group of 3 boats together and I know there are other boats that team up also.

Good luck.

I'm always looking for an open seat for halibut.
My boat just is'nt big enough to venture out there. I convinced my wife craftfully that I'd be safer at bouy 10 and ocean in a 20 footer so she's game. Having a kid in two months so the bigger boat will wait till next year. Bummer!
Any open weekends for halibut and or tuna I'd be deeply great. I have hali experience and more than enough gear and expenses, heck I'll even bring some good jokes with me.
Thanks for the consideration in advance.
Brad
