(Un)Official Oregon Tuna Season/Forecast
Ok- so El Nino is fading but the Calendar is advancing. So.... taking into account the earths rotational variation, sun spots, the current size of the hole in the ozone, local magnetic disturbances, vibrations from bombs dropping in Iraq, the empty TUNA compartment in Pilars freezer, Marks bottom paint bill, id's wild desire to go out in the salt, the fact that my Bayliner is up for sale but Miss B is NOT ready to go anywhere yet, and a partridge in a pear tree... all ran through my trusty super computer (actually a Calendar in my pocket PC)... I came up with the fact that we are over 2/3's of the way through the NO TUNA season!! Only 'bout a 100 days left to go, I think I'll make it!

Gus- the Bayliner is my "old" boat. Gotta sell her to buy fuel for Miss B, although the Stock market seems to like the bombs dropping. Can't wait til we invade France though  , gotta sell the Bayliner to pay for Fuel!

Fourth of July weekend about 20 miles West of Cascade Head (at the
"Compass Rose"). That's when/where the fish will be, so you know
where you'll find ME!

Only in the shadows...but they are there! It must be time, my visa bill is almost reflective of tuna time.
