That is to bad. Is use to be a really good magazine. But once they stopped with the regional report, it kinda lost alot of good information I thought, so I canceled my subscription. I still bought it on occasion just for certain articles though. Sad to see it go.

The articles inspired a lot of hunting & fishing efforts. Even if there wasn't much to catch or shoot. Advertisments were unique I recall.

I liked the wildlife & fish art covers of old. Before they switched to photo covers they used a bass painting of mine on a cover. I think $40 or so was my income from that.

Oh it was you and the 10 other guys. Seriously we had this little area that we hunted for 4 years it was very productive. One year we starting getting very crowded I mean there were like 3 different groups hunting that spot we finally asked one of the guys how they had found it as we had never seen them before. He told us about reading about it in Hunt and Fish news and it even had a map because a guy had killed a big bull in there the year before .... We had passed twice on the same bull (we think it was the same bull) because he would never get with in 50 yards of us and a rifle hunter got him...go figure.
