The commercial season should be open by now. I'm in AZ for the winter(returning in 3 weeks and have not kept up with the catch off of Winchester.

Has anyone fished Winchester Bay this time of year for salmon? I am itchin' to get out and try it but I'm not sure there will be salmon around when the ocean flattens out. Last year, we did very well in May just outside W. Bay but I have never charged this early. Any feedback out there??
