Default One step closer to tuna!!

Last week i made some progress toward my ultimate goal "tuna".
I now have a three way valve in my fuel line and and a couple 13gal. gas cans for back up.
My fuel capacity is now 78 gal., not including the kicker can(6gal.).
I took the boat out of the garage and ran it for about 5 hours last weekend, ran great. It was her first day on fresh water. Fished for several hours with out a strike, the water temp was 39 and slightly off color. I dont catch many on American Falls Res. till May, June and July. Im killing time till Tuna.....
I am getting excited for my springer trip April 12 thru the 18th. Ill have 6 days to do nothing but catch fish.
It will be my one year anniversary April 15th. I was given a second chance at life that day . The doctors saved my life that day!!!! I plan to be wacking a springer at the exact moment i was cut on ,one year later.
The doctors were not sure if I would walk again or how i would recover. Im doing better than anyone would have predicted..... It has been a very longy year... id. p.

ID, good to hear you're taking advantage of that second chance. Hope the springers are good to you... Joe

Awesome ID -- A springer will cooperate I'm sure -- the good Karma thing!

I'll see you in Depoe Bay this summer with the rest of the gang.

Yes ,Life is so good. If any of you need a reminder.Let me be it.

Im 44 and came very close to being in a wheel chair or dead. I have a 4 year old daughter,a 10 year old son and a wonderful wife . I have a great job (art teacher)though i dont make much.
After my accident, i came away with a renewed love of life and an understanding of what is really important. Time with loved ones doing what you love. That is it . And when its all over for us here in this life, the memories are what you take with you. Enjoy every second of every day. Catch lots of fish. Tuna,,,. id. p.
