Default Surf Perch

Will be in the Manzanita area over Spring break. Is this a good time of year to fish for surf perch on the beach. Any tips?

Anytime except during a storm has been good for me. I like it best an hour either side of low slack. Try a fly rod with a pink bodied streamer with a white tail. I tie my own. Use a 2x hook #6. Tie in white marabou as a tail and them double wrap the shank with pink chenille.

Tip - Read the waves and look for the holes.
