It started out as a last minute fishing trip to get my son and a friend (suffering from Cabin Fever) out on the river for a chance at a Springer. It ended up being an 84 mile adventure up and down the Columbia, Willamette and Multinoma Channel! 84 miles, 27 gallons of fuel for an MPG of 3.11! That means that with a 58 gallon capacity (without my two reserve tanks for Tuna) that I have a range of about 180 miles or following the rule of 2/3 120 miles.
Look out Tuna
The boat performed without a flaw and the company was excellent. Drifty and my son each had a turn at the helm.
EDSR, I will still go with you if you would like, just let me know when.
Like I said, this trip wasn't exactly planned but it sure was fun and I have plenty of confidence in my boat now.

In addition we saw a lot of river and wildlife. (and crackers)
We saw a few fish caught and heard of one being crackered off, took a nice piece of jewlery with him as a trophy too

We anchored for the first time. It was in a tight spot between a cracker and another Alumaweld. We didn't even scratch any gel coat. It was beautiful. Drifty put on a clinic on getting the anchor system rigged and ready on the fly.
What a great day on the river.
About mid way we saw a real Sea Lion, coincidence? Then to top it off at the end of the day there was a beautiful rainbow.
