Default 2008 Edition Duck Boat Thread

All the Duckers are anxious, and in a feisty mood so its time to post up your boats old and new. Layouts, Flatbottoms, Big Sleds, and More, lets see 'em.

My boat was purposely grounded for the hunt.Huntin a mud flat with a 3 ft. deep channel 20 yard's out in front. The wigeon's like to feed along the water edge and up on the flat's.And in my the picture you can not see, but there is alot of sea lettuce on the flat's.And when the tide come's in we do not need to reposition the boat. That day the boat was only grounded for about 1.5 hr's.At time's we will ground the boat in other spot's of the bay and walk out a few hundred yard's and set up a few fullbodie's and hide behind driftwood and wack geese too.

Daryn,

You seem to be jonesin' just as bad as me for the season to get here. I am going to start making some modifications to the boat and blind next week while the wife and kids are out of town. I should be able to get a lot done without interuptions.

Yeah, I think the guy that designed and built it is on this board, but now he tries to hide his boat high and dry rather then using a bllind for concealment.

I am thinking about it. I have a couple of small projects to start on it next week so depending on progress I may enter it. The major one is going completely through all of the wiring and redoing all of the connections with dielectric grease and heat shrinking them. I also need to replace or clean up the fuse panel.
