Contingency plan for Saturday rain-out?

Is there some sort of contingency plan in place in case the weather
guessers are correct about the big storm (and rain) hitting the coast
on Saturday? Where will all the tunaholics go if it's raining? Will
there be some sort of tarped area in out of the rain for the unwashed
masses?

I want to be there Saturday, but the wife won't go if she is going
to be forced to stand around in the rain ... KnowWhatIMean??

Good point, Mark. One previously-shared idea is that if it gets too miserable, a good backup would be the restaurant side of the Rogue Brewery. I'm not sure if Bruce spoke with them about this; I can call them today & find out. We'll check back later....the other Mark

You and I had the same thought at about the same time. I'm pointing my thread, Saturday at Newport" to this one so we don't get a dual thread going.

Here's my original post:

Anybody have Saturday's weather prediction in your back pocket? Here's what it looks like to me right now:

Boats (even on the bay) - iffy
Outside BBQ - iffy
Awnings out - not likely

Hell, they might even close the road between Philomath and the coast.

Now don't get me wrong, that isn't likely to slow us down at all, but it may make us re-think a couple of options for the day. One nice thing about toy-haulers like mine and Popeye's is you can crowd quite a few people inside - and we may need to do that. Anybody got any thoughts?

Hey Rod and Pilar, you want me to pick up 10-15 lbs of small red potatoes? Hehehe - Ettoufee - good stuff!
