Perry, problem (IMO) is that the water up that way (61, etc) is just filthy dirty. Yea, yea we all know about all the fish we caught the last 2 years in dirty water. Seems like (at least so far) this year is different. Need to get to the cleaner edge.
Just look at the July 28 chlorophyll. From Newport, need to be out by that 317 spot (125 07), or off of Yachats 124 57 . Either way it's at least 45 miles.

Mark,
Not to start another issue here in the guppy leagues but you have to remember that Treb (second season) scored a couple of fish Sunday off the CR at the 27 line in green water. Small fish but still tuna. Just a little pocket water there.

Anybody try going to 61 and dropping some iron down 100-150 feet. The southern Oregon garden gnome was telling me that the blue water can slide in under the green

Im going to be somewhere out of Newport on Saturday chasing longfins but I think I am heading towars 44.30, sure hope there will be some present.....
