Toss em at tuna crashing the bait balls and crank like the Charles Dickens. Use the heavier yo-yo's for deeper fish(I use 'em for jigging deep reefs for yellowtails).

Tady's can be fished on the "slide" or else tossed uphill of the boat after a hook up..keep the reel in free spool letting the jig sink maybe 30 sec or so..Alot of bites come on the sink,,the jig stops sinking or you feel a tic,,throw into gear and grind grind grind up to the fish..A Penn Jigmaster or a 320i size reel with 30 or 40lb test works great..All chrome,,blue/chrome or purple has been productive..the "heavy" model with a big siwash hook is my favorite.......

Ahh My favorite Jig to use in the Salt!!!

How do you use them, Well Booja 1 outlined it pertty well. They also work very well for Rock fish by YO-Yo'ing them. The heavy jigs that are made out of zinc are the ones you want to use for rock fish. The light ones made from aluminum like the Tady45 works well on fish that are working bait on the surface.
Like I mentioned in another post yesterday, I caught a 38Lb chinook last June on a Tady #9. I say bait fish being chased on the surface and started throwing the iron and letting it sink half way to the bottom. half way through a retrieve WHAM. 15 minutes later the chinook was in the boat. I also used the same Tady jig to catch a limit of rockfish.
Blue and white, chrome, chrome and blue, green and white are all good colors.
It's not the colors that make the jig work, its the Swim movement. All Tadys have the same general swim movement.

Hey Hamachi, where ya been? Believe it or not, I was thinking of you yesterday. At the Newport Aquarium in the "fish tunnel" we were looking at the yellowtail, and we spoke of hamachi! Have a good one.....Mark

To answer your question... I bought a house. I don't get much internet time - way too much to do. I'll be lucky if I get the skiff out more than a Neah Bay trip and maybe a Westport tuna trip if they show up close enough.

That aquarium is pretty cool - went there a couple of years ago. My favorite is still the Montery Bay aquarium. Who can go wrong with a million gallon tank full of 75lb. plus yellowfin tuna! It's like going to church.
