5.8 quake hits LA metro

The quake was just before noon and hit about 7 miles south of Paloma in CA.

Hope that everyone is OK.

Not that bad. Down here on business and was on the 14th floor of the LAX Hilton.

Took about 20 minutes outside and they gave us the go-ahead to go back to life as usual. Phone lines were jammed up until about 30 minutes ago.

I have 10 crews acessing damage through out the chino/riverside area and first reports back to me are very little structural damage, mostly cosmetic issues. Lots of things knocked off the walls and items unattached are on the floor! My renter just called and said that about 20% of the water had slopped out the sides! I'm in vegas today and it was even felt here. My assistant called from san diego and it rocked the building there also!
