No final outcome yet ... they were suppose to call me on Tuesday to
talk about it, but didn't get to me until Wed. afternoon. I talked
to Rex (the guy that did the original estimate) and he said the bill
looked out-of-line to him, too. He was going to talk to Mike (the
dry-dock operator) today to see why in the world they were charging
me sooooo much for labor on the dry-dock operation.
Should be getting another call today. I don't know if I expect them
to do anything for me or not! However, the top end estimate (including
painting the out-drives) was $3200 and I was charged $5200!!

At this
point in time I would not recommend them to anybody, let alone a fishing
buddy! If they help me enough and bring the bill back down to "in line"
with the estimate, then I might consider it!
Actually, they did a real nice job on the bottom paint! On Saturday
when we re-launched the boat I was suprised by how much "slicker" the
bottom is! When we launched before, I had to get in the boat and POWER
it off the trailer. Saturday I backed into the water and my baby Bro'
just pushed a little and the boat was free from the trailer. So,
even if I *do* get bent over on the price, looks like I got a good
paint job out of it.
