I am trying to get my Kitchen pass. The issue is that my aniversary is on the 11th. I am begging the wife right now as I type.. I will send you an email in a day or two for a confirmation.. Let me know if you still have room.

Re: Halibut Season Official
Interestingly enough, my coastal vacation falls on the second season. I may be begging a couple of seats from someone. I'm good for gas and beer! I have never caught a flattie before, and that is a terrible thing to have hanging over one's head.

Re: Halibut Season Official
If I am able to secure a job between now and then and am able to procure the funds to help contribute. And depending on the timing of the the new little ones arrival. I'd like to add my name to the list of those thumbing a ride.
It was too much fun last year. Even for a 34" chicken.

Re: Halibut Season Official
Well I have a boat but I am afraid it is to small only 18 ft sled. I would absolutely love to go halibut fishing. Yes I am begging for a spot on any friday or saturday. I will chip in for whatever. I will scrub the decks, swab the misen mast, polish the brass, hose the poop deck, scup the scuppers, hold the holds, batten down the battens, and port the holes.
so if Anyone has a seat, willing to share a ride, need company or anything else please let me know.

Thanks for the consideration

Re: Halibut Season Official
Ryan - every time I see that photo, I wonder at the size of that ocean! If the opener looks like that again, you can have my seat! I'm no wuss... but 4.5 hrs back from the "ranch" and bleeding kidneys was more than I'd care to endure again... for ANY fish! (okay, well... maybe a tuna... but... oh, can't get them to bite when it's rough anyway! yeah, that's it!)

Re: Halibut Season Official
Bump ^^^
Now that everyone is "booking" trips to Halibut Hill, I thought I'd bring the season and quota link back up to the top. Thanks, Popeye, for posting this in the first place.
