Fished the Portland Area on Sunday and Monday for steelhead. Sunday was incredible. 9 takedowns 5 nates to the bank. All the fish were over ten and chrome! I was home by 11. Monday I fished the same water and the river was rising. I got skunked.

I fished the sandy on fri,sat, and sunday without a single bite. I don't know if i was fishing too low in the river, using the wrong stuff, or just bad luck. Were you using jigs or other?

Thanks for the report. I drive by Lewis and Clark daily, but I don't usually have luck there. Most of my luck happens upstream.

Fished it saturday in the Oxbow area and landed a nice 8-9 pound chrome nate. Thats about it for me that day.
