Ok-Ok, yes I do have an angling problem
High all,
Last Sunday I had the pleasure of attending the Ifish goose hunt. After spending the day with Bill Monroe and Skein they made me realize that I to am a tunaholic! Yes I have lurked in the shadows for some time now trying to deny my addiction , but with there help I am ready to come forward and admit that I have a saltwater fishing problem. It goes even deeper than tuna, there are all of those salmon, those bottom fish, and halibut, and crab too.
My crew and I had the pleasure of meeting several of you last summer halibut and tuna fishing. We had a great time fishing along side many of you. Lets see, there was Seasquid, Gregotis, Wak'm & Stak'm, Corrirod, Marty, RJ, Pilar and Mate, Puffin, and Keta. Who did I forget, probably someone? Thanks for letting us tag along it was fun and as our friend from Newport would say, we did Wak'm on those tuna runs.
Sorry that I have lurked for so long, now I have a bright, shiny, new computer, and am learning how to push all those neat little buttons.
Skein , as I said on the other forum, let me no when you get that new boat home, I sure would like to take a close look at her.
Once again thanks for all the fun last summer, we are looking forward to the coming season and many trips with you Salty Dogs.
A special thanks to my good friend Marty for turning me on to the Salty Dog forum. I have fished the ocean for a long time, but there is always more to learn. The information shared here is invaluable.
Will be on the water soon!
Jerry

Welcome aboard! You are in good company with all us addicts on the board. While we all have found the courage to admit what we do not wish to change, there is comfort in knowing we're not alone.
Hope you'll join us in Newport on the 15th!

Good job, TWB. Owning up to the problem is the first step. However, you can't get through this alone. Coming to Newport and letting us "help" you is vital to your recovery!
Plan on it!
Skein

Re: Ok-Ok, yes I do have an angling problem
Thanks, PM, Rod, and Skein for the welcome. I don't no if I can make it to Newport on the 15th? Will have to see how things work out, just might try to get down there though.
Rod, you no the direction, "due west my man." However next time, you lead the way. Last time we went ,I over ran the fish by twenty miles. Same results as everyone else, just twice the amount of fuel!
