Miracle Moment
A few days ago my neighbor down the roads sister passed away. he asked me if I would take a few off his family members out into the ocean to spread her ashes as it was a request of hers before she passed. I was honored and told him I would watch the weather and set a time. We met at the dock this morning at 6:00 am and what a morning! We headed down the river and over a glass flat bar about 3/4 of a mile out or so out to where the family said to stop. As they took out the ashes and spread them into the mirror like water it was a pretty touching moment. One of the sisters had some flowers as well that she let go 1 at a time as the boat drifted. The flowers were about 10-15 feet away from the boat and out of no where a porpoise came up right in the middle of the flowers, then circled them about 3 times then slowlly swam out towards the horizon. It couldnt have been more perfect.
Ive never done that before and getting to see marine life anytime is cool, but that was amazing. Coincidence, I think not. I had to share the story with you all. Hope you enjoyed it. Makes you think!

Re: Miracle Moment
Sweet story!
Last year we spread my mother's ashes just outside the Golden Gate bridge and her ashes formed into the shape of a person before slowly dissipating! No porpoises, but just a beautiful glassy day in a beautiful spot.

Re: Miracle Moment
Im really kind of speachless! Im in aw that i got to witness this event , but it was all about the family and the 4 people that were there were from all different parts of the states and will share this moment with so many people. So many things in this world are to good to be true and so hard to believe. If I wasn't there, I would have a hard time believing it. I had to share it with you guys and gals. There is no way I could ever even begin to try to feel the way the family members felt when this happend, but I know how I felt and its truly hard to describe. Im no expert on miracles, but now I feel that I've witnessed one!
