Open Seat Garibaldi Halibut Hill Sat
I have one open seat for Halibut and a search for tuna out of Garibaldi Saturday 7/26/08.
Boat is well outfitted 19' Harbercraft with windshield and full top. I have all the safety gear, and life jackets.
Sea prediction is calm and tide is right.
Bring your gear, whatever you want to eat and drink. Share expenses (gas, ice, bait)
We can meet to carpool (leaving Oregon City at 2:15am heading west on Hwy 26), or meet at Garibaldi parking lot at 4:30. Hope to leave the dock at 5:00 am, and back to dock by 4:00 pm.

I left the dock at 5:10 AM with Zarn and Oregonelkkiller.
Over the flat bar and dropped 6 traps in the ocean.
Ocean changed on the way out - bit sloppy compared to the prediction.
20 boats at the Hill.
The fishing at the Hill was tough all morning. Very few Halis. Lots of lings, and a skate. We only got a 32" and we stopped at 4:00 pm.
Ocean got nicer in the afternoon. Heard a rumor the long liners cleaned out the halibut.
Did manage 22 crab using this years shad.

Re: Open Seat Garibaldi Halibut Hill Sat
This was from last weekend... I bumped it up to ask how he did since I was in Port Orford and couldn't run with Jim. Sorry for any confusion.
