Default New Chloro Shot 7/24

Actually dated 7/23 2:30 pm, but just showed up on Terrafin.

Pretty interesting! Dirty to the north, but cleaner to the west & SW.

And a new temp shot, from 3am today.

Do any of you CoastWatch users know if this same set of data is available? I've been using the Chlorophyll-a....US West EXPERIMENTAL data set. It's last shot is from the 20th.

It is funny that you ask that question because I was trying to get chloro info on the Coast Watch Browser this morning and I tried every single one of the data sets for chloro. I could not get anything later than the 7/20 shot you referred to. So, I tried a few phone numbers but the West Coast Node is pretty well hidden behind phones that don't get answered or are serviced by message machines only. So, I went the modern way and used e-mail messages to every person I could find on their sites who apparently had some role in providing help/info to users. To this point, I have exactly zero responses to my e-mail messages.

If anyone else knows how to pull up more recent shots from the Coast Watch browser than the 7/20 one, please let us know. Mr. Terrafin must be getting his info from somewhere.

man,

what a disappointment those new shots are. I would have thought the SW swell would have brought the water in a bit.

My is that its gonna be a 60+ mile ride to find fish this weekend out of Illwaco and Hammond...

Hello! (knocking on your screen like Tom Peterson)

Fish were caught out of Depoe in green 59 degree water 35 miles from the beach. That was on tues and wednesday. Same boat 37 total for two days.

Run way the hell out there if you want to, not cause you have to.

Might wanna rethink the 60+ mile deal. Look at the shot again and then look out front of Tillamook. I'm betting that blue water swoops in and if the side bet for the 20oz Pepsi comes through I will spend a little time trying to win that bet.

ya, out of tillamook maybe, but Im going to be fioshing out of Westport.

Nothing above 55.6 degrees inside of the 125 line as of todays SST near the CR...

I'll take that 20oz pepsi, and raise you a 32 oz Mountain Dew, that I dont find 58 degree water before I hit 55 miles from the tip of the south jetty..
