North Coast Steel - Pic
Saturday's float started off kinda slow. Finally about noon my super secret killer plug landed in the mouth of this.
After that I was able to long line release a couple on the drift rod using some eggs and I also ran into this beautiful cuttie on a pink worm

Re: North Coast Steel - Pic
That cutthroat went about 18" and thought he was a steelhead. When I first hooked him he jumped about 1 1/2 feet out of the water. He then proceeded to jump 4 more times and he was actually stripping 14 lb fireline off of my Shimano spinning reel.

Beautiful. Those cutts do some acrobatics from time to time, don't they!

Re: North Coast Steel - Pic
Zaq,
Yeah I was. That one hit a metallic red one (more like a rusty red).
I picked up a smaller one on the same plug in the last hole we fished on Saturday.
Are you taking the stock hooks off and replaciong the rear only. It really changes the action of the plug. Also, make sure they are tuned well, but do it carefully because you can screw the eye up if you tweak it too hard. Just a little nudge usually does the trick.
