Default Taking rifles into Mexico

I have heard conflicting report on the legality of bringing hunting rifles into Mexico. Does anyone have FIRST HAND experience with this subject?

I am planning on chasing coyotes in the Sonoran Desert in January and would like to know if I can bring my own "hardware" or not.

I have used Romero's Mexico Service for 30 years. They are located in Newport Beach, CA. I have not taken firearms into the country but they should know the current laws.

Gee, doesn't texas have enough dogs for you? I don't know if I would gamble taking the AR down there.
