Default open seat?

I never though I'd asked this 'cause I am a die hard fisherman, and I have to admit I have my own boat and gear. I responded to a post today "walleye for dinner good day on the CR". I would really like to go with someone on CR that has already caught them and maybe give some pointers. I have fished alot around Oregon and would be more than willing to share info. that I have learned, especially on the Snake (Brownlee). I would be more than willing to pay my part. At this point I just don't have the funds to pay a guide. And BELIEVE ME after the day I had today on the CR I would be on the phone to a guide! Anyway, if this sounds like a possibility please PM me. MY schedule is very flexible, so any day, any time! Thanks!

Wish I could help, but I'm tied up for awhile.
For guides, give Roger Rauch a call he's a lower river expert. Placed in the top spots of the Lower CR Walleye Classic several years running before turning to guiding.
I'd also call Jack or Brandon Glass, but I think they may be only doing salmon trips right now.
Those 3 are your top lower river guides. There are some other experts, but they don't guide.

For upper river eyes, give Touchett at FlyByNite or Ed Iman a call.
I'm sure there are others but those are your top experts.

I also second the mention of joining the Lower Columbia Walleye Club to learn the ways of the walleye.
Great folks, if I had more time..I'd go to the meetings. But the Club fish-in's are a great way to learn the river.
And this is where you'll find the rest of the experts. A real wealth of knowledge sits at the table there.
(I wonder if Valerie is still out fishing hubby Lonnie.)

No, I something came up and I had to come back home for a few days. But I left my boat up at my sis's in Portland so I am hoping early next week. But at least I'm ready to go next time with all this gear!
