Default Air bag pressure??

I have a2002 f250 S/D.It has air bags (not air shocks) under it. Right now there is 0# pressure. How much should I keep in them?

It's a matter of how much air you need. Zero is not good- they should have at least enough air to keep them inflated. You just need to find a happy medium where the ride isn't too harsh and the vehicle stays level under load.

I run about 35 lbs with a 9 ft camper on. It doesn't sway much, and rides pretty well. 100 lbs is the max the bags can handle, and I'd bet the truck would break in half under a load that needs that much air.

5lbs minimum. You can cut the bags is you run them empty.

I usually run 15-20 in mine all the time. The ride isn't much different than stock,and I know there is enough air in them.

I have Firestone airbags on my truck and it says minimum is 5 lbs or you can damage the air bag.
